Senay’s career in the creative industry dates back 20 years, beginning in his hometown Stockholm, Sweden. Being self-taught, he has built an extensive portfolio of music videos for Swedish artists such as Seinabo Sey, Leslie Tay and Adiam amongst others. Campaigns for Afripedia, H&M, SnS, short films and documentaries. As an award-winning director, he continues to evolve his creative outlets to include photography and art. As a form of self-expression, Senay’s art – whether still or moving images - embodies simplistic beauty often captured in mundane contexts. His work has been screened and exhibited in galleries, film festivals and academic institutions across the world. Senay is currently studying fine art at The Royal institute of Art in Stockholm.
